　ライカ熱の定期発症に伴ってモノクロ熱も定期発症。ただしフィルムの自家現像に時間を費やせなくなってきたので、もうそこは割り切って外注に出すことにした。某ラボに頼んで、全コマの600万画素スキャン付きで約650円。フィルム代を合わせると、36枚撮り一本あたりのランニングコストは1200円くらいだろうか。

　デジタルばかり使っている人からすれば馬鹿じゃなかろうかということになるだろうけれど、デジタルでは機械式のカメラは楽しめない。それに機械式のカメラならメンテナンスさえすれば10年でも20年でも使え、もともとが古いから陳腐化しないし、デジタルの新製品が出るたびに一喜一憂するストレスもない。電池がなくたって撮れる。失敗はぜんぶ自分の責任。

　仕事はデジタルできっちり撮って、オフはLEICAにモノクロ詰めてゆるく撮る、というのが結構贅沢なスタイルじゃないかと、勝手に言わせてもらいます。放っておいてください（笑）。
